Discover the ancient and complex percussion of India!

Learn traditional approaches to composition and improvisation, and how to apply them to other rhythm and melody instruments and styles of music. Along with hand drumming, students will learn an exciting form of vocal percussion (Indian “beatboxing”). Drums provided or bring one of your choice, or just use your own voice!

Ensemble open to students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Private lessons available with ensemble director, Dr. Rohan Krishnamurthy.
